Baby Food

The other day I was feeding Kendall some baby food and Carter expressed some interest in trying a bite. She was eating plums and apples so I gave him a bite and he loved it! The next day I was feeding her peaches and he wanted another bite. Again, he loved it! On the third day I was feeding her peas and carrots and, again, he wanted to try a bite. So, I gave him a bite. :-) He immediately starts pointing at his mouth and panicking, obviously wanting to spit the bite out. I handed him a paper towel and told him he could spit it out, at which point he starts gagging and coughing. I'm trying not to laugh as I help him wipe off his tongue and mouth. Once we finished cleaning up, he gave me a very serious look and said, "Mommy, no like KK's (this is what he calls Kendall) food." It was pretty funny!

That's pretty funny:) I've never been a fan of the smell of jarred veggies and have definitely never had any inclination to try them, but I think I would likely agree with Carter's assessment! I'm glad you guys had a fun trip to NM. How crazy for Kyle to be a dad. I'm sure he is wonderful at it. Just tell him if he wants to be super-cool, he needs to teach Ina's friends to do, "Hi, my name's Joe. I got a wife and three kids......"
