Right now is my season for...
I'm copying this idea from my friend, Erin. Thanks for the inspiration Erin!
Right now is my season for:
  • Changing diapers, lots of smelly diapers. :-)
  • Making bottles, lots of bottles.
  • Feeding my son all kinds of gross-looking, mashed-up food. :-)
  • Learning to live within a budget. It's actually much more freeing than one would imagine!
  • Working full-time, even though all I want is to be a stay-at-home mom, domestic diva, domestic engineer, or whatever you want to call it.
  • Learning to juggle work, household duties, time with my son, church, and time with my husband.
  • Learning to prioritize and say "no" to really good things so I can have time with my son and husband.
  • Waiting on the Lord in areas that I desperately want Him to act quickly.
  • Trusting God with our future even when it seems so uncertain.
  • Trusting God to meet our needs.
  • Learning to be content right where God has me, not looking around and compairing to everyone else.
  • Learning how to be more efficient and organized. (I have a long way to go on this one!)
  • Learning to savor the moment; Carter is already growing up so fast!

Wow! That's a lot of learning huh! I praise God that He is so patient with me and that He has given me a husband who is so patient with me and is working so hard to provide for our family. Thank you Lord!
