Right now is my season for...
I'm copying this idea from my friend, Erin. Thanks for the inspiration Erin!
Right now is my season for:
- Changing diapers, lots of smelly diapers. :-)
- Making bottles, lots of bottles.
- Feeding my son all kinds of gross-looking, mashed-up food. :-)
- Learning to live within a budget. It's actually much more freeing than one would imagine!
- Working full-time, even though all I want is to be a stay-at-home mom, domestic diva, domestic engineer, or whatever you want to call it.
- Learning to juggle work, household duties, time with my son, church, and time with my husband.
- Learning to prioritize and say "no" to really good things so I can have time with my son and husband.
- Waiting on the Lord in areas that I desperately want Him to act quickly.
- Trusting God with our future even when it seems so uncertain.
- Trusting God to meet our needs.
- Learning to be content right where God has me, not looking around and compairing to everyone else.
- Learning how to be more efficient and organized. (I have a long way to go on this one!)
- Learning to savor the moment; Carter is already growing up so fast!
Wow! That's a lot of learning huh! I praise God that He is so patient with me and that He has given me a husband who is so patient with me and is working so hard to provide for our family. Thank you Lord!

Oh Kristi!!! I can SO relate to your "season." It wasn't long ago that I was leaving our youngest with my mom (when we lived in DC) and I was working. We were on the TIGHTEST budget and when I think back, I'm not sure how we did it. But- not I can look back and be truly thankful for the unexpected ways in which the Lord provided for us. And we are HUGE believers in a good budget. I agree with you- it is SO freeing! Who would have thought???
It sounds to me like you have an amazing attitude and wonderful spirit (much better than I did). You just keep it up and know that God will bless you and IS blessing you in so many ways!
Love you!
